Frequently Asked Questions

What is Caprock Advanced Care?

Caprock Advanced Care is a modern medical practice designed to provide patients with immediate, high-quality access to care. We combine same-day visits, direct communication with providers, and a streamlined experience—without the delays and complexity of traditional healthcare systems.

How is this different from urgent care or a traditional clinic?

Unlike traditional clinics, we focus on access, efficiency, and continuity. You’ll have a consistent medical team, faster appointments, and a more personalized experience. Our model is designed to reduce wait times and eliminate unnecessary barriers so you can get care when you need it.

Do you accept insurance?

We operate on a direct-pay model, which means we do not bill insurance. This allows us to keep pricing transparent, reduce administrative complexity, and focus entirely on patient care.
You are always free to use your insurance for services outside our clinic.

What does membership include?

Membership provides enhanced access to care, including same-day or next-day visits, direct communication with your care team, and a simplified care experience.
Our goal is to make getting care easy, timely, and predictable.

Is this health insurance?

No. Caprock Advanced Care is a medical service, not an insurance plan. We provide care directly to patients for a transparent fee, but we do not replace health insurance coverage for hospitalizations, specialists, or major medical events.

What types of conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of medical concerns, including:

  • Illnesses (flu, infections, respiratory issues)

  • Minor injuries (sprains, cuts, fractures)

  • Preventive care and routine health needs

  • Ongoing medical concerns

Our goal is to be your first stop for most medical needs.

Can I be seen the same day?

Yes. One of our core principles is immediate access to care. We offer same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible, so you don’t have to wait days or weeks to be seen.

Can I use this for my primary care?

Yes. Many patients choose to use Caprock Advanced Care for both immediate needs and ongoing care, with a focus on access, continuity, and a strong patient–provider relationship.

If you already have a primary care provider, we are happy to work alongside them as an extension of your care. We can help manage urgent concerns, provide timely evaluations, and keep your care moving forward—while encouraging ongoing follow-up with your primary physician for long-term health management.

Our goal is to support—not replace—your existing care team, ensuring you receive the right care at the right time.

Do you treat children and families?

Yes. We care for individuals and families, making it easier to manage healthcare needs in one place.

What happens if I need a specialist or hospital care?

If you need care beyond our scope, we will help coordinate referrals and guide you to the appropriate specialists or facilities.

How much does it cost?

We offer simple, transparent pricing, including membership options and visit-based care. Our goal is to make costs predictable and easy to understand.  For membership, we charge 100.00 per month (about the cost of a cup of coffee per day.  For families, we charge 300.00 per month for the first 4 family members*, then 35.00 per month for any additional member*.

Do I have to be a member to be seen?

No. We offer both membership options and individual visit pricing, so you can choose what works best for you.

Do you offer IV medications or treatments?

Yes. We offer clinically appropriate IV medications and therapies when indicated as part of your medical care. This may include treatments for dehydration, nausea, infections, migraines, and other acute conditions.

All IV treatments are ordered and supervised by our medical providers and are based on your individual evaluation—not a one-size-fits-all approach.

When would I need IV treatment?

IV therapy may be recommended when you need rapid symptom relief or cannot tolerate oral medications. Common situations include:

  • Dehydration

  • Severe nausea or vomiting

  • Migraine headaches

  • Certain infections

  • Medication delivery when faster effect is needed

Your provider will determine if IV treatment is appropriate for your condition.

Are services discounted for members?

Yes. Members receive significantly reduced pricing on services, labs, and procedures performed in our clinic.
Our goal is to provide high-quality care at a more affordable, transparent cost for those enrolled in our membership.

How does membership affect pricing?

Membership provides access to preferred pricing across a wide range of services, including visits, testing, and treatments.
All pricing is clearly communicated in advance, so you always know what to expect.

Is everything included in the membership?

Membership covers access to care and select services, but some items—such as labs, imaging, and certain treatments (including IV medications)—may have additional fees at reduced member rates.
We keep all pricing simple and transparent.  Some services—such as labs, imaging, and IV medications—may have additional fees, even for members.  However, members always receive significantly reduced pricing, and all costs are discussed upfront.
